King Abdullah's Death - Prophecy of Imam Mahdi's Coming

by Mg. Er. Shoaib Mohammed

Introduction

King Abdullah and Obama shaking hands
Obama and Abdullah
The Prophet Muhammad (s) informed us of countless signs of the last age. These signs are usually classified by scholars as major and minor signs. For our purpose, I have (myself) classified the signs into three categories – (1) the mother of all signs (or, the most important signs), (2) the major signs, and (3) the minor signs.

In the last age the identification of the Dajjal, the Mahdi (a), and (the return/‘second coming’ of) the Masiyh (a) are of utmost significance.

The arrival of the Mahdi (a) constitutes a major sign, according to us.So important is the sign of the Mahdi (a), that his arrival is preceded by other signs, which help us to recognize the Mahdi (a) when he comes.

The enemies of Islam, needless to say, will attempt to create confusion in the minds of the people, by distorting and hiding facts and presenting them as fiction and falsehood. These enemies are not just from outside (non-Muslims), but also those who adorn themselves in the garb of Islam (“muslims”).

In this paper we want to discuss about a specific sign, which is a precursor to the Mahdi (a), as is indicated in the Hadiyth literature. This sign is associated with a prophecy about the death of Abdullah. Who is this Abdullah mentioned in the Hadiyth? It most certainly seems to us, and Allah knows the best, that this Abdullah refers to the previous King of Saudi Arabia, who was the incumbent King of Saudi Arabia till he passed away yesterday, on 23-Jan-2015 (and his half-brother Salman became the new and (hence) incumbent King of Saudi Arabia, as of authoring this article), and that this sign is unfolding in front of our very own eyes.

The Hadiyth statements are narrated in both the Sunni and Shia books. The traditions mention that the death of Abdullah is from the close signs of the emergence of the Mahdi (a).

Hadiyth 1

From the Messenger of Allah (s):
The rulership of the Hijaz will be under a man whose name is the name of an animal. When you see him from a distance, you would think he has a lazy eye. And if you get close to him, you do not see anything (wrong) in his eyes. He will be succeeded by a brother of his, named Abdullah. Woe to our followers from him! Woe to our followers from him! Woe to our followers from him! He repeated it three times. Give me the good news of his death, and I shall give you the good news of the appearance of the Hujjah (Imam Mahdi (a)).
[Narrated by Ahmad bin Hanbal in al-Musnad; Narrated by Ayatollah Muhammad Ali Tabatabai in ‘250 Signs’, Sign number 122, under the title of ‘The Rulership of Hijaz’ (who referenced it back to the Musnad Ahmad)]

Analysis:

The Hijaz is the eastern part of present-day Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. If this prophecy were to be fulfilled today then the ruler of Hijaz would imply the ruler or King of Saudi Arabia. Whether or not, this prophecy is unfolding today, is a different question altogether, and this is precisely what we intend to discuss in this analysis.

Part of the Hadiyth text: The rulership of the Hijaz will be under a man whose name is the name of an animal.
Observation: It is a possibility that the prophecy was fulfilled when Fahd became the King of Saudi Arabia. Fahd means ‘leopard’, and hence it could refer to the king whose name is the name of an animal.

Part of the Hadiyth text: When you see him from a distance, you would think he has a lazy eye (or crossed eye, or squint). And if you get close to him, you do not see anything (wrong) in his eyes.

Observation: Indeed, this observation was true for Fahd.

Part of the Hadiyth text: He (Fahd) will be succeeded by a brother of his, named Abdullah.
Observation: After Fahd’s death, Abdullah become the next King of Saudi Arabia, and was the incumbent King till his death. Upon his death, his half-brother Salman became the new King.

While, individually it could have been argued that the prophecy could possibly have referred to some other personalities; but the combined prophecy, the sequence of the prophecy, and the fulfillment of the prophecy becomes too difficult to ignore. Obviously, it would put the Saudis in a state of bother, and it is expected that they would spare no efforts to invalidate this Hadiyth. Expectedly, they have done this, and we will analyze this specific issue in this analysis itself.

Part of the Hadiyth text: Give me the good news of his death, and I shall give you the good news of the appearance of the Hujjah (Imam Mahdi (a)).

Observation: Abdullah passed away yesterday, on 23-Jan-2015, at the age of 90 years.

The Prophet (s) said, that Abdullah’s death is a good news for us, Muslims; because Abdullah’s death implies the appearance of Imam Mahdi (a), is near (close).

Exactly, how near or how close is it? We are not sure. We interpret and estimate that it is of the order of some 10 years or so. Now, I know I can be wrong. It can be more, it can be less. What I’m trying to drive-in is the point that, it’s not 1000 years from now. In our opinion, it is somewhat close to the estimates we are presenting.

This is a Sunni narration, from Ahmad bin Hanbal’s al-Musnad.

This Hadiyth is narrated, reported, and referenced in a Shia book, authored by Ayatollah Muhammad Ali Tabatabai in ‘250 Signs’. This is not a Hadiyth book, but a book of signs and prophecies. It is a recent work, not an ancient one. The author, born 1945 CE, is a very reliable scholar of our generation.

The author copied the Hadiyth from Musnad Ahmad. But, now, it cannot be found in Musnad Ahmad.

It has been argued that since the author is a very reliable scholar, then the Hadiyth must have been dropped from the new prints of Musnad Ahmad due to influence from the Saudis.

This can be checked from an old copy of Musnad Ahmad.

It has further been argued, that since the book was written before the fulfillment of the prophecies, so the Hadiyth must be authentic; because it has spoken about future events, which have come true.

The attempt, by the Saudis, to invalidate the existence and the authenticity of the Hadiyth is futile.

The Saudis are the ‘Jews’ of the Ummah of the Prophet (s). (We will explore this topic in a separate book/article, Insha-Allah.)

And, in this heritage, they are following the footsteps of the Jews at the time of the Prophet (s).

The Jews, used to hide, verses from the Torah, by covering it with their hands.
This is mentioned in a Hadiyth,
Narrated ‘Abdullah bin Umar:
The Jews brought to the Prophet a man and a woman from among them who had committed illegal sexual intercourse. The Prophet said to them, “How do you usually punish the one amongst you who has committed illegal sexual intercourse?” They replied, “We blacken their faces with coal and beat them.” He said, “Don’t you find the order of Ar-Rajm (i.e. stoning to death) in the Torah?” They replied, “We do not find anything in it.” ‘Abdullah bin Salam (after hearing this conversation) said to them. “You have told a lie! Bring here the Torah and recite it if you are truthful.” (So the Jews brought the Torah.) And the religious teacher who was teaching it to them, put his hand over the Verse of Ar-Rajm and started reading what was written above and below the place hidden with his hand, but he did not read the Verse of Ar-Rajm. ‘Abdullah bin Salam removed his (i.e. the teacher’s) hand from the Verse of Ar-Rajm and said, “What is this?” So when the Jews saw that Verse, they said, “This is the Verse of Ar-Rajm.” So the Prophet ordered the two adulterers to be stoned to death, and they were stoned to death near the place where biers used to be placed near the Mosque. I saw her companion (i.e. the adulterer) bowing over her so as to protect her from the stones.
[Narrated by Bukhariy in Sahiyh: Kitab at-Tafsiyr (Prophetic Commentary on the Quran, Book-65), Chapter: ‘Say: (O Muhammad!) Bring here the Torah and recite it if you are truthful. (3:93)’ (Chapter-58), Hadiyth-4556]

The relevant part of the Hadiyth is reproduced here,

And the religious teacher who was teaching it to them, put his hand over the Verse of Ar-Rajm and started reading what was written above and below the place hidden with his hand, but he did not read the Verse of Ar-Rajm. ‘Abdullah bin Salam removed his (i.e. the teacher’s) hand from the Verse of Ar-Rajm and said, “What is this?” So when the Jews saw that Verse, they said, “This is the Verse of Ar-Rajm.”

The point we intend to make is that the Jews used to hide the verses with their hands.

But, the ‘Jews’ of the Ummah of the Prophet (s), the Saudis, have gone one step further; they remove the Hadiyth texts, from the books of Hadiyth.

So, to validate our point we need to refer to the old copies of the books of Hadiyth side-by-side with the new editions.

As if this was not proof enough, we have more Hadiyths on this issue.

Hadiyth 2

From Abi Baseer who heard from Abu Abdullah (a):
Whoever guarantees for me the death of Abdullah, I will guarantee for him the emergence of the Qa’im (Imam Mahdi).
Then he said, When Abdullah dies, then the people will not gather/agree upon anyone after him.
And this matter will not end, except for your companion (Imam Mahdi) Insha-Allah.
And the kingdom of years will be over, and it will become the kingdom of months and days.
So I asked, Will that be prolonged? And he said: No.
[Al-Biharul Anwar, Volume-52, Page-21]

Analysis:

Whoever guarantees for me the death of Abdullah, I will guarantee for him the Qa’im (Imam Mahdi).
Abdullah’s death implies the Appearance of Imam Mahdi is close at hand, this is guaranteed.

When Abdullah dies, then the people will not gather/agree upon anyone after him. This is self-explanatory. Some people who see with one eye have actually argued their case, that since we have a new King in Salman, and that the successorship to Salman is also decided, this Hadiyth invalidates itself. I say, hold, wait, stop, be patient, before jumping to conclusions. This is only what is apparent. The reality is quite different. What this Hadiyth essentially means is that the case of the new King will not be unanimously accepted. Even if there is apparent solidarity in the Kingdom, in reality it is flimsier than the spider’s web. There will be internal turmoil, trouble, anarchy, disorder, and chaos in the Kingdom.

And this matter will not end, except for your companion (Imam Mahdi) Insha-Allah. After the death of Abdullah, there will be a period of chaos. Then the Khilafah will return, with Imam Mahdi (a) as the Khaliyfah, Insha-Allah.

And the kingdom of years will be over, and it will become the kingdom of months and days.
After Abdullah’s death, and before Imam Mahdi (a) becomes the Khaliyfah, there will be a period of chaos in which rulers will come and go, ruling only for months or weeks or days, no more for years. Our interpretation about the statement of the rule of months and days (in conjunction with the statement the rule of years will be over) is that the rule of any and all of the successors of Abdullah (till the arrival of Imam Mahdi (a)) is limited to less than 3 years.

So I asked, Will that be prolonged? And he said, No.
The period of chaos will be short, and Imam Mahdi’s appearance will be soon after the death of Abdullah, Insha-Allah.

This is a Shia narration. But, it does not really make a difference. The first part of this Hadiyth is contained in a Sunni source as we have seen.

This Hadiyth by itself could refer to any ruler named Abdullah.

But, in conjunction with Hadiyth-1, this Hadiyth becomes absolutely clear, that it refers to Abdullah, the previous King of Saudi Arabia.

Hadiyth 3

From Imam Al-Sadiq (a):
There shall not come the corruption/destruction of the rulership of Bani So-and-So, until two swords in Bani So-and-So differ and if they differ with one another then that is the corruption/destruction of their rulership.
[Al-Bihar, Part-52, Page-210]

Analysis:

This is a Shia narration.

This Hadiyth refers to the disintegration of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. It explains the period of chaos between the death of Abdullah and the appearance of the Mahdi (a), as is mentioned in Hadiyth-2.

Hadiyth 4
From Imam Baqir (a):
When the Sufyani rises against Al-Abqa’, and Al-Mansour, and Al-Kindy, and the Turks, and the Ruwm, he will leave and go to Iraq, then the horn (age) of healing will come out, and at that point will be the death of Abdullah.
[Al-Mo’jam Al-Mawthou’i Le Ahadith Imam Mahdi by Al-Kourani, P-553]

A large portion of the battles of the Sufyani and developments prior to Imam Mahdi’s appearance will be during the life of Abdullah. His death will be after the Sufyani enters Iraq.

This Hadiyth again could refer to any ruler named Abdullah.

But, if this Hadiyth is understood in conjunction with Hadiyth-1 & 2, then it becomes clear that it refers to Abdullah, the previous king of Saudi Arabia.
The Hadiyth can potentially be explored further, but we are not so much concerned about the events described in the Hadiyth; not as yet, we may return to this subject at a later point of time in a separate book/article.

As of now, what we are interested in is the part which describes that it is only after the death of Abdullah, that the Imam Mahdi (a) will come out, herein referred to as the age of healing. (The word used in the Hadiyth is Qarn, which can mean horn, but it can also mean age, here it means age.)
The Hadiyth describes a sequence of events, prior to the death of Abdullah, but as I have stated we are not so much interested in the details now. (We will return to this subject in a separate book Insha-Allah.) What we are interested in is that there will a general chaos in the global political environment or scenario. Pretty accurate picture, or state of affairs, at the time of Abdullah’s death.

Hadiyth 5

From Imam Sadiq (a):
While the people are staying in Arafat (for Hajj), a rider on a light and fast camel comes to them, and gives them news of the death of the khaliyfah (king). At his death is the faraj (relief) of the family of Muhammad and the faraj (relief) of all the people.
[Al-Biharul Anwar, Volume-52, Page-240]

In this Hadiyth, the term khaliyfah is used in the sense of ruler or king.

This actually describes an event in the post-Abdullah phase of the Saudi Kingdom. The King refers to a successor of Abdullah, the successor can refer to any successor (need not be the immediate successor, though it can), between his death and before the arrival of the Mahdi (a).

This Hadiyth indicates that the King’s death, will be on the day of Arafat or very shortly before it.

It appears to us that the ‘light and fast camel’ mentioned here refers to a car.

At the death of this khaliyfah (king) is the relief of the family of Muhammad and all the people, this is a clear reference to the rise of Imam Mahdi (a).

Hadiyth 6

From Imam Sadiq (a):
They will kill the man riding the light and fast camel when he gives the news.
[Al-Biharul Anwar, Volume-52, Page-240]

This is another Hadiyth which is closely connected with the previous Hadiyth, Hadiyth-5.

They will kill the man riding the light and fast camel when he gives the news.

Obviously, the Saudi authorities will not be pleased that he is giving the (good) news (of the death of the King (a successor to Abdullah)), and will kill him.

Hadiyth 7

From Imam Baqir (a):
A dumb person shall die from the family of Bani So-and-So.
The reason for his death is that he has sexual intercourse with a Eunuch.
And the Eunuch rises and slaughters him.
And his death is concealed for 40 days.
And if the riders go out seeking the Eunuch, the first of them shall not return except to find that their rulership has gone away.
[The ones who pave the way for the Mahdi]
We will combine the analysis of Hadiyth-7, and the next Hadiyth – Hadiyth-8.

Hadiyth 8

From Imam Baqir (a):
The reason for his death is that he will have intercourse with one of his (male) servants, so he will rise and kill him, and his death will be concealed for 40 days. When the riders go to seek the servant, the first of those who left will not return until their kingdom is over.
[Kamalul Deen, P-65]

Analysis:

The Hadiyths-7 & 8, is interesting.

Before we proceed with the analysis, let us pause briefly, and contemplate.

In our earlier article (1st Edition) we thought that this could refer to Abdullah. But, in this book, we will tread our path more carefully.

The Hadiyths-7 & 8, do not mention Abdullah by name, now this observation is important to our discussion.

We make a few observations as follows:

Can this refer to Abdullah? We know how secretive things can be, when it is about getting information about the Royal Family of Saudi Arabia, or for that matter about any royal family. So, the answer is yes, it can refer to him.

But, the question is does it refer to him? The answer is we do not know.

Here our next observation can be very powerful. The answer to the above question does not in any way alter or change the framework of our discussion. So, irrespective of whether the answer to the above question is yes or no, it does not matter to us, in so much as the prophecies are concerned, about Abdullah and the events to follow, more so because this Hadiyth does not actually name anyone, unlike of course some of the previous Hadiyth statements which actually take the name of Abdullah quite categorically.

So, this Hadiyth could actually refer to Abdullah, though we admit we do not have any supporting evidence, or more likely still, it can refer to a successor to Abdullah, in which case the prophecy is yet to be fulfilled.

The question that naturally follows is that, can a member of the Royal Family of Saudi Arabia actually do such things as is mentioned in the Hadiyth, irrespective of whether it is Abdullah or a successor.

The answer is yes, it is very much possible.

In any case, whoever that person mentioned in the Hadiyth is, the Hadiyth actually explains the reason for his death. He, like the people of Luwt (a), is gay.

It would be appropriate and important at this stage for us to recollect an incident which happened, and which involved one of the members of the Royal Family of Saudi Arabia. The person we are talking about is Saud Abdulaziz bin Nasser al Saud (the grand-nephew (nephew’s son) of Abdullah), who was convicted in London in 2010 for raping and murdering his male servant.

Also, we have evidence from the medical (file) reports of King Abdullah that he used Viagra at the age of 92. What a big joke you may say! King Abdullah died at the age of 90, so how can this ridiculous statement of him using Viagra at the age of 92 be true! We have evidence based on reports which suggest that the King was actually about 10 years older than what was previously assumed. According to the medical file of King Abdullah, he was born in 1916, not 1924.

So, it is very much possible for another member of the family to commit such an act again. But, this time, instead of the master killing the servant, the servant kills his master.

The death of the King (in question) will be concealed for 40 days.

It appears that the servant who kills the King flees and runs away from the country. Some of the Saudis will go after him trying to find him and arrest/kill him. By the time the first of them comes back, the kingdom will be in turmoil. (The Hadiyth ends in a somewhat metaphorical sense.)

Interview with the Saudi Prince – Talal Bin Abdul Aziz

Interviewed by BBC Arabic, aired 17-Feb-2011.

Interviewer: And it is as if you are agreeing your majesty O prince, that there might happen and I am saying “might” happen some protests in Saudi Arabia like in surrounding countries.

Saudi Prince: Allah …(unintelligible)… . Who can predict these sort of things? We can’t predict this, no by Allah, all we are asking for is peace and quiet. And we want those directions who are managing this country to pay attention to what is happening around us and to move to implement the necessary changes that we asked for and that they are also asking for.

And the existence of King Abdullah today and we are awaiting his return greatly and he and he alone is the only person who can implement these changes. Because after King Abdullah passes, there will be the Great Evils and I have warned about it several times, what is coming to us is the mysterious future! We want this problem to be fixed during his lifetime. …

Interviewer: And that is the question your majesty the prince, because in fact it is said that these protests and changes happening in the Arab region and Saudi Arabia. And this goes with it as well. This all gains an additional importance to Saudi Arabia because of the health of the King, and the talk about a successor, etc. Is the issue of the Successorship to (King Abdullah) a decided matter?

Saudi Prince: Sir, the right functioning mind is attached to the right functioning body (talking about King Abdullah’s decaying mind), so who knows what Allah’s eyes have to determine? But what we believe is that the existence of King Abdullah today, who is loved and accepted by the nation, is able to the implement these changes and no one else can because others don’t even believe in these changes.

So we would like King Abdullah to implement these changes in his lifetime and of course every decision takes place by also listening to the other opinion.

Interviewer: Your majesty I just want to clarify something, so you are saying that King Abdullah is the only one who can implement these changes and no one else because they don’t believe in it, so you are talking about members of the Royal Family not agreeing?

Saudi Prince: I already mentioned in the beginning that I am asking you not to embarrass me, please do not embarrass me, I am speaking in a loud and clear voice. It is upon the viewers to understand what I mean, I am talking right now about King Abdullah who is loved and accepted by the nation and who can implement these changes.

Analysis:

In this interview, what the Saudi Prince Talal Bin Abdul Aziz states is purely from the perspective of the political scenario that is building up in Saudi Arabia. And, from what he states, it seems that it is moving towards the fulfillment of the prophecies, mentioned in the Hadiyths.

Conclusion

The Hadiyths narrate and prophesizes a vivid sequence of events. Some have already come to pass, the others are awaited.

The sequence of events as narrated,
• After Fahd, Abdullah will succeed him as the king of Saudi Arabia.
• Woe to the Muslims from him.
• During his time, there will a general chaos in the global political environment or scenario.
• After the death of Abdullah, the kingdom will be in turmoil.
• A member of the Royal Family of Saudi Arabia has gay intercourse with his servant.
• The servant kills him and flees the country.
• The Saudis will run after him trying to catch him.
• His death will be concealed for 40 days.
• A man will give the news on the day of Arafat (40 days after his death), and will be killed.
• After Abdullah, none will survive more than months or days on the throne.
• The khilafah returns, with the coming of Imam Mahdi (a) as the khaliyfah.
• The appearance of Imam Mahdi (a) is soon after the death of Abdullah.

The events that have already unfolded (thus fulfilling the prophecies),
• The Hadiyth stated about King Fahd very accurately and precisely.
• Abdullah succeeded him as foretold.
• Abdullah’s grand-nephew (nephew’s son) Saud Abdulaziz bin Nasser al Saud was convicted in 2010 in London for raping and murdering his male servant. He’s now in prison. He didn’t just get this homo trait from nowhere. He is not the only one in his family who is a homo. So it’s not impossible for another member of the Royal Family of Saudi Arabia to do the same at some point of time.
• There have been at least one failed attempt, by Bandar in Sultan, to kill Abdullah. So, after his death, it is not impossible for him or others to attempt and kill the incumbent King, thereby leading to the general chaos in the Kingdom, resulting in a rule of only months or days (after Abdullah).
• Abdullah passed away on 23-Jan-2015.

To note, the death of Abdullah, implies the arrival of Imam Mahdi (a) is near.

If someone disagrees with our analysis, our reply to them is short.

First, it is highly unlikely, that even after the fulfillment of the prophecies regarding this Hadiyth, that this Hadiyth can be invalidated as false.

Second, this book deals with prophecies, so it is beyond me (or anyone for that matter) to prove those events which are yet to be fulfilled. We need to be patient during this phase. Only time will tell whether our analysis is correct or not. Once such events occur, the prophecies and hence the Hadiyth texts will validate themselves. But, by that time it will already be too late for some of you, in so far as recognizing the true Mahdi (a) is concerned, and staying away from the deception of the false claimants of the Mahdi-s. So, let us wait and see as to who is correct – you (those who deny the truth) and your false beliefs, or us and our countless proofs concerning this issue.

Video Edition of the Analysis

Background to the 2nd Edition

I had authored an article on the topic – ‘The death of Abdullah and the prophecy of the Mahdi (a)’, way back in 2013. I had included this topic in some my lectures, delivered even before that, in 2011-2012. This topic was important then, as it is now, and will continue to be in the (near) future, till the advent of Imam Mahdi (a).

But, yesterday, with the death of King Abdullah, on 23-Jan-2015, this topic has reached monumental significance. If the prophecies discussed on the topic (in my earlier lectures and article) is anything to go by, the time for the arrival of Imam Mahdi (a) is close, closer than some of you may estimate or think of.

Thus, this topic has reached critical importance since yesterday.

So, yesterday, when the event of the death of Abdullah happened, I decided to look at the subject-matter once again, and delivered a lecture (yesterday itself). I focused on the speech first, since speech (oral communication) I believe is a more natural and impactful form of communication than an article (written communication.

With that objective achieved (yesterday), I now focus my attention on presenting the topic in the written form. This 2nd Edition of the article seeks to remove the errors that had crept into the original article (1st Edition), and I take full responsibility for that. We all do make mistakes, on it is only on hindsight that things becomes clear to us. The only way not to make a mistake is to stop doing any and all work; no work no mistakes, a philosophy which we could not quite agree with. Though, I make mention of my mistakes in the 1st Edition of the article, I would like to share some details about nature of the mistakes made: The mistakes were minor at best, it does not change the overall framework of the prophecies, and it was a result of my incorrect interpretations and analyses. Those who have not got an opportunity to go through the 1st Edition of the article, I would like to present it to you as is. Though this is not really required, I would still like to do so, for the benefit of our readers. With that said, the 2nd Edition of the article has been presented here.

  1. On the night of the 23rd of January 2015, news outlets announced to the world that king Abdullah of Hijaz had passed away. The Shia world celebrated, and believers took it as a sign that Imam Mahdi (PBUH & His Family) would soon appear. On the same day of the death of king Abdullah, a video appeared on the internet giving glad tidings of the appearance of Imam Mahdi (PBUH & His Family). Random Facebook accounts began publishing a particular news, and that was that Imam Mahdi (PBUH & His Family) had appeared. The people carrying the glad tidings began to encourage the people to do as the narration had stated. The narration stated that Prophet Mohammed (PBUH & His Family) said to give him glad tidings of the death of king Abdullah, and he would give you glad tidings of the appearance of the Mahdi (PBUH & His Family). They said now that king Abdullah died, it is upon you to ask God, to ask Mohammed (PBUH & His Family) if we are truthful. Ask Him through istikharah or for a sign or whatever way you like. They said the promise of the Prophet (PBUH & His Family) was a proof of their truthfulness, for no one claimed that Imam Mahdi (PBUH & His Family) had appeared upon the death of king Abdullah except them, therefore, they are truthful.

These individuals claimed that they had been with Imam Ahmed Al-Hassan (From Him is Peace) over a period of a year and a half and that they were taken by him to go meet Imam Mahdi (PBUH & His Family). They claimed and testified that they did, in fact, see and meet Imam Mahdi (PBUH & His Family). They claimed to be the twelve men mentioned in the narration by Imam Al-Sadiq (From Him is Peace) who said: “The Riser/Qaim shall not rise until twelve men all gather upon the saying that they saw him, but they are belied.”
